Everyone knows that living costs in different countries vary a lot. Some locations are quite expensive, some — relatively cheap. But have you ever heard about places which are paying money just for living in?
The classical example of such a region is Alaska, USA. Since 1976 all citizens of this state are getting yearly payouts. Payouts are funded by the Alaska Permanent Fund and may differ from year to year. To take part in this program you should be a resident of the state for more than a year and you must not claim residency in any other state or country.
