Saskatchewan
The Canadian province of Saskatchewan faces the same problem the Alaska has. Distant location and the rigorous climate of the northern part of the province made Saskatchewan an unpopular place for living. To attract newcomers, Saskatchewan has launched the Graduate Retention Program. It offers tuition reimbursement of about $20,000 CAD to college graduates.
The program is available for recent graduates (2010 or later) from preapproved Canadian colleges. But it works for some foreign colleges, too. To participate, grads should be ready to live in the province at least for 7 years.
