The Shanghai Complex
Most of the details of this facility have been kept hidden but what is known is that the bunker covers one million square feet and is capable of housing up to 200,000 people. This shelter was designed to withstand blast, nuclear radiation and poisionous gas emissions. 15 tunnels, each of which stretches 4,000 meters, that link to office towers and residential apartments. It is also connected to the subway system, enabling people to flee from one district to another. The complex is equipped with its own power supply, ventilation, and power storage capability, which is able to ensure a daily underground supply for 1–2 weeks.
