In Milan, Italy, trere is concept of other eco house. Great work has started to convert two residential towers into ‘vertical forests’. It is a project by architect and developer Stefano Boeli and is named Bosco Verticale. It will accommodate more than 900 plants and trees which would occupy 10,000 square feet of ground in a natural setting. The plants will provide oxygen, improving Milan’s air quality, which currently ranks amongst the worst in Italy. The towers will also shield other buildings from noise and heat.
