London, Great Britain
A monthly rental budget of $1,500 is usually enough to rent a proper place for living anywhere. Let’s see what that «proper» means in different countries.
For instance, in most of the British cities for $1,500 a month you can get one- or two-bedroom apartment in a city center. In London it will rather be a rare find though. An interesting option is to find a studio flat with a co-living scheme, like The Old Oak Community (the photo above). It will cost you £953 (about $1240) per month. Except an apartment itself, such places can offer a range of additional services, like regular room cleaning, concierge service and a communal space (common kitchens, restaurants, launderette, gym, lobby, library, cinema, etc.)
