Victoria and David Beckham bought the 1930s Hertfordshire mansion Rowneybury House, otherwise known as Beckingham Palace, for £2.5 million in 1999. “Camp, tacky, like a tart’s boudoir” is how Victoria Beckham describes her English home, which comes complete with an indoor swimming pool, Audrey Hepburn bathroom, snooker room, helipad, gym and floodlit tennis courts.

David and Victoria spent years improving their Beckinham palace and, after living there for 14 years, the couple has decided to move back to London, but they refused to sell the villa to just anyone. They were afraid that the new owners would cash in on their name. They should’ve kept ot for their kids.
